Dresden Genome Center 

The Dresden Genome Center (DGC)  constitutes a shared technology resource that provides the infrastructure for a broad range of state-of-the-art genomic technologies. The DGC consists of the following 4 units: DNA Sequencing/ Tilling, Mircoarray-based Technologies, Next Generation Sequencing, and Recombineering, which are available to researchers in the area of life sciences on the Dresden campus.

DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center at TU Dresden 

Welcome @ DRESDEN-concept supports international scientists and their families to feel home in Dresden and allows them to concentrate on their research career from the very first moment. Dresden Science Calendar allows the international scientists within the framework of the DRESDEN-concept to improve cooperation across departmental limits and produce more efficient science.

Biopolis Dresden Imaging Platform (BioDIP) 

The Biopolis Dresden Imaging Platform (BioDIP) is a community of core light- and electron microscopy facilities on the Biopolis campus.
It provides access to state-of-the-art imaging technologies and is used by scientists across Dresden. Currently more than 65 imaging systems are available to all researchers within eight BioDIP facilities belonging to five research institutions.

Henry Arnhold Dresden Summer School 

The Henry Arnhold Dresden Summer School is an interdisciplinary programme for young academics and museum professionals. As a joint project between the TU Dresden, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum, Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr, Sächsische Landesbibliothek – Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek, and Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, the Dresden Summer School draws from the resources of a broad network of major partners.

The project aims to bring together high-level speakers and experts from the participating institutions to discuss topical issues relating to how museums and libraries perceive themselves, their mission, and the state of collections and exhibitions in the future.

The project “Campus4You“, coordinated by DRESDEN-concept, is a joint venture of the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW – Dresden University of Applied Sciences) Dresden and Technische Universität Dresden.
The aim is to equip students of both universities with a multifunctional chip card, which combines the student identity card, the refectory/canteen card, the semester ticket (for public transport)and the library cards.
