The Dresden Genome Center (DGC) constitutes a shared technology resource that provides the infrastructure for a broad range of state-of-the-art genomic technologies. The DGC consists of the following 4 units: DNA Sequencing/ Tilling, Mircoarray-based Technologies, Next Generation Sequencing, and Recombineering, which are available to researchers in the area of life sciences on the Dresden campus.

The Dresden Innovation Center Energy Efficiency DIZEeff was founded in 2009. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the TU Dresden extend together the subject energy efficiency as a priority.
