The co-operation of all 28 DRESDEN-concept partners is aimed at the development and use of synergies in research, education, infrastructure, and administration. These common projects of DRESDEN-concept are reflecting this.
Dresden Genome Center
The Dresden Genome Center (DGC) constitutes a shared technology resource that provides the infrastructure for a broad range of state-of-the-art genomic technologies. The DGC consists of the following 4 units: DNA Sequencing/ Tilling, Mircoarray-based Technologies, Next Generation Sequencing, and Recombineering, which are available to researchers in the area of life sciences on the Dresden campus.
DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center at TU Dresden
Welcome @ DRESDEN-concept supports international scientists and their families to feel home in Dresden and allows them to concentrate on their research career from the very first moment. An experienced team in local International Offices and the DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center at TU Dresden as well as (dual) career specialists are dedicated to support foreign nationals in case of relocation issues, social and cultural integration and (dual) career services.

One of the major activities of the DRESDEN-concept is to develop a common platform for shared infrastructure, the DRESDEN Technology Portal. This platform will foster synergies in infrastructure and collaboration in research.
Dresden Innovation Center Energy Efficiency
The Dresden Innovation Center Energy Efficiency DIZEeff was founded in 2009. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the TU Dresden extend together the subject energy efficiency as a priority. The aim is to strengthen in close scientific cooperation the academic teaching and research as well as the innovation competence at the research location Dresden.
Biopolis Dresden Imaging Platform (BioDIP)
The Biopolis Dresden Imaging Platform (BioDIP) is a community of core light- and electron microscopy facilities on the Biopolis campus.
Henry Arnhold Dresden Summer School
The Henry Arnhold Dresden Summer School is an interdisciplinary programme for young academics and museum professionals. As a joint project between the TU Dresden, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum, Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr, Sächsische Landesbibliothek – Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek, and Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, the Dresden Summer School draws from the resources of a broad network of major partners.
