Dynamics of Complex Networks

Dynamics of complex Networks

The Scientific Area Network aims to pursue an interdisciplinary approach to the “dynamics of complex networks“, adopting a scientific or even a comparative view of natural, technical and social systems. In particular, it intends to provide scientific insights into multifaceted networks (“systems of systems”) in the research fields of biology and neurology, social sciences and humanities, as well as in supply infrastructures (energy, water and transportation).

The Kick-off events takes place on 20th August 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm followed by an opportunity to network at Deutsches Hygiene Museum, Marta-Fraenkel Hall, Lingnerplatz 1

At the kick-off event researchers from DRESDEN-concept partner institutions will present their results in a concise form. We would like to cordially invite you to contribute by holding a short presentation (maximum five slides in five minutes) and to participate in an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas during the subsequent networking.

We are delighted to offer a guided tour through the special exhibition “Of Plants and People. A Stroll Around the Green Planet”. Curator Kathrin Meyer will focus on the network communication of plants. The guided tour starts at 3:30 pm. The meeting point is the foyer of the Deutsches Hygiene Museum. Please register for the exhibition tour and write an e-mail to: lena.herlitzius(at)tu-dresden.de
